Trained in both complex free flap and regional flap techniques, reconstruction is aimed at restoring form and function. He has learnt and developed these techniques by some of the best surgeons in North America through his fellowship training with the American Head and Neck Society.
Dr Hendriks offers treatments for everyday ENT conditions including snoring and sleep apnoea, salivary gland problems, sore throats and tonsillitis, and ear conditions. He has also completed specialised training in the United States in a newer treatment for sleep apnoea called hypoglossal nerve stimulation — a small device, similar to a pacemaker, that helps keep the airway open during sleep.
